日本任天堂有意将游戏机与手提电话功能合一推出Wii手机(WiiPhone)，目前还未有进一步更确切消息。
官方宣称WiiPhone内置2颗处理器，一颗专管游戏功能，一颗则为手机功能使用。当在游戏过程中有电话呼叫时，在游戏画面上直接显示呼叫者电话号码等等。
