Cordless Precision删去SIXAXIS的内置锂电池设计，采用两节AA电池供电。由于索尼授权的问题，这款手柄无法使用蓝牙和PS3通讯，而是必须将接收器插在PS3的USB接口上，使用2.4GHz技术传输信号。
